OUC shares SEPA’s vision of reducing carbon emissions
ORLANDO, FL. – Linda Ferrone, OUC’s Chief Customer & Marketing Officer, was recently elected secretary of the Smart Electric Power Alliance’s (SEPA) Board of Directors. SEPA’s Board of Directors helps guide the nonprofit’s strategy and priorities.
SEPA seeks to facilitate the electric power industry’s smart transition to a clean and modern energy future through education, research, standards, and collaboration. The group envisions a carbon-free energy system by 2050.
Ferrone’s participation with SEPA complements OUC’s strategy to increase its reliance on renewable energy and reach Net Zero CO2 emissions by 2050, with interim emissions reductions of 50% and 75% by 2030 and 2040, respectively.
