Wade Gillingham
Vice President of Electric & Water Production
Wade Gillingham is the Vice President of Electric & Water Production at Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC—The Reliable One), the 14th largest public power utility in the United States. He is responsible for power production, water production, chilled water services, fuel services and wholesale power marketing.
Mr. Gillingham began his career at OUC in 1989 as an engineer through the Emerging Student Program, formerly the summer co-op program, and was named Construction and Plant Engineer in 1992. He served in that role until 1997, when he progressed to Operations and Maintenance Manager for Stanton Energy Center Units 1 and 2. He was promoted to Assistant Director of Power Production in August 2008 and became Director of Power Production in August 2010.
Mr. Gillingham was appointed Vice President of Electric & Water Production in 2018 to oversee engineering, safety, construction, maintenance and operations of fossil and renewable generation, potable water production, district cooling facilities, fuel procurement, logistics and wholesale trading activities.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Central Florida.
