Project Inquiries & Requests

OUC is continually planning, constructing and upgrading facilities in order to meet whatever growth our present and future customers require.

OUC can make electric and water service available within our service area in accordance with existing policies and procedures of the Commission. OUConvenient Lighting can provide complete outdoor private lighting services for a wide spectrum of commercial and residential applications including preventive and corrective maintenance. OUCooling provides specific areas with high-efficiency district cooling services.

General inquiries can be made by contacting OUC Development Services below. Examples of general inquiries include requesting a Letter of Availability, a meter set status or the status of an existing project. For existing projects, please provide the project name, address and work request number.

All information on new projects should be sent only to OUC Development Services, not individual engineering departments. OUC Development Services will log, track and monitor your project within OUC for you. Plans sent on disk or e-mailed to us should be 2010 AutoCad or earlier or .dxf files.

For more information on the requirements and costs of OUC services for a new project, please provide the following:

OUC Electric Services

  • Location, including legal address, plat or drawing of location with nearby streets
  • Site plan
  • Power riser diagram
  • Landscape plan showing storm water retention
  • Once you have this information, contact OUC Development Services below

OUC Water Services

  • Location, including legal address, plat or drawing of location with nearby streets
  • Approved site plan showing size and location of fire protection, domestic and irrigation services
  • For multi-family projects, indicate the number of units and the number of bedrooms per unit for each domestic water meter
  • For commercial irrigation meters 1-inch or larger, indicate the estimated acreage to be irrigated for each irrigation meter
  • Once you have this information, contact OUC Development Services below

OUConvenient Lighting

  • Location, including legal address, plat or drawing of location with nearby streets
