Robinson Street Electric Distribution Project

Project Overview

To provide you with the most dependable and resilient services and to accommodate Orlando's continued growth, OUC - The Reliable One is undergrounding overhead distribution lines between North Rosalind Avenue and Summerlin Avenue. Overhead transformers on poles will remain on streets that intersect East Robinson Street. The project includes relocating approximately 0.2 miles of existing electrical duct bank and approximately 0.23 miles of existing overhead facilities to a new underground manhole duct-line system.

OUC is working in coordination with the Florida Department of Transportation's (FDOT) Robinson Street Resurfacing, Restoration and Rehabilitation (RRR) project from Hughy Avenue to Mills Avenue and the City of Orlando's Robinson Street Sanitary Sewer Improvements project. OUC's water main project will be completed ahead of FDOT's RRR project.

Together, these projects will transform Robinson Street. Below, courtesy of FDOT, are streetscape renderings of the future Robinson Street after all roadway, streetscape, and utilities improvements are completed.
