Here’s how it works:

Before work begins, please contact our Conservation Support team at ConservationSupport@ouc.com or 407-434-2256.  We can assist with reviewing our rebate requirements and any questions you have about the application process.  Rebate applications must be submitted within six months of the project completion date.

We can also assist with the steps to request an applicant number, register and log in to submit your rebate application.


Communities That Have Participated in MFEP

The Canopy Apartment Villas
The Canopy Apartment Villas obtained over $280,000 in rebates for energy and water efficiency improvements made in 2022.  The improvements included installation of heat pump water heaters and A/C systems, upgraded ceiling insulation and duct repairs, and WaterSense certified toilets.  The rebates provided helped recoup nearly 10% of the project cost.  Learn more

Sawgrass Apartments has obtained nearly $50,000 in rebates to help their residents conserve energy and water.  As a result of their efforts, they were presented with the inaugural Multifamily Energy & Water Efficiency Excellence Award at the Apartment Association of Greater Orlando’s annual Golden Key Awards gala. Amelia Court
multifamily_ameila_courtAmelia Court at Creative Village received nearly $190,000 in rebates for the energy-saving equipment they elected to install when the property was built.  More than half was awarded for installation of heat pump water heaters which save residents on their water heating consumption.  In addition, the community installed 15-16 SEER heat pump air conditioning systems which help residents conserve during the summer and the winter.  Overall, we estimate the customer savings per apartment is $300 annually as compared to a standard, new apartment with building code minimum efficiency equipment.
