Every year, thousands of Orange County Public School students showcase their artistic talent through OUC—The Reliable One’s Water Color Project, an education outreach initiative that seeks to inspire students in grades 4 through 12 to create artwork depicting water conservation-related themes.

This year’s contest drew talent from across Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) fourth- and fifth-grade students, who submitted 111 water conservation-themed drawings in the 2023 Water Color Project – Calendar Contest.

The drawing “Teamwork Keeps Us Hydrated” won the coveted cover placement on the 2023 Water Color Calendar. Nathaniel “Nate” D., a fourth-grade student at Arbor Ridge K-8, created the artwork in an art class taught by Sean Nagy.
