Attila Miszti
Chief Operating Officer
Attila Miszti is the Chief Operating Officer of the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC—The Reliable One), the 14th largest municipal utility in the United States.
Miszti is responsible for managing OUC’s electric, water, chilled water, energy services and lighting operations. Additionally, Miszti oversees management of OUC’s operations-specific plans while exploring new and innovative ideas that combine assets, technologies and ingenuity that further OUC’s reliability and operational excellence to support the growth of Central Florida.
Miszti joins OUC with 23 years of experience, most recently from Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), the 6th largest municipal utility in the United States. During his career at SMUD, Miszti was responsible for providing strategic leadership and tactical oversight for transmission and distribution asset engineering, construction and maintenance. Prior to SMUD, Miszti worked for several multinational companies, including MCI World Com and Citigroup.
Miszti earned a Master of Business Administration from California State University of Sacramento and Bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics from the University of San Francisco and holds several professional certifications.
